There are thousands of candidates' resumes piling up on your desk. Most of them are from people who are terribly unqualified for the position you're trying to fill, but there are about 10 that might work. You don't want to interview all ten, so you narrow it down to three… but how? Sound familiar? There's no way to know if one candidate's personality might be a better fit than another one's by looking at their "what I can do" based resume. So I'm making it easier for you to either narrow it down to me and two other people, or just narrow it down to just me. This little section tells you about who I am both in and outside of the work environment.

First off, I never ever go by Jason, except when it comes to being "official" (for instance, on my resume). I prefer to go by Jai (it's pronounced "Jay", I spell it oddly to set myself apart a bit). There's a short story behind that, but I'm not going to bore you with it here. So if you call me, ask for Jai Brinkofski. You'll make a good impression on me from the start.

My wife, Becky, and I have been married since September 22nd, 2001. We have one beautiful daughter, Annie, born on May 28^th 2006, and one handsome son, Mikey, born on November 8^th, 2008. First and foremost, my family is the reason that I strive to be the best worker possible. I need to secure them enough to pay the bills and be fed, and hopefully be able to save some money for the kids to go to college. Once, on an application I had filled out, it actually asked me "Why do you want to work for the *insert type of corporation here* industry?" I think that's a silly question. As long as it's not an immoral industry (such as the Adult websites who have been interested in hiring me), then it doesn't matter the industry. Great websites can be created for any industry. I just want to be paid fairly for my expertise and hard work so I can continue to support my family..

Good quality web and user interface design is my specialty. I'm sort of a utility player when it comes to web technologies. I've worked in many different environments with many different code languages and many different content management systems. But above all of the skills I posses, designing stunning visual sites with CSS / HTML and Photoshop is my best. And being that I have many of the database skills, development skills, marketing skills and various other skills to go along with that, sites that I am involved in have benefited from all angles. They look great, are functional and dynamic, easily updated, compatible with all modern browsers, search engine friendly and very very easy to use.

In a nutshell, all of this is the person that I am today. I'm not your "run of the mill" candidate. I love to bring as much passion to work as I possibly can, to make work as exciting as possible for me and my co-workers. But enough of me telling you about me.
