I am a web professional with over 10 years of experience being a part of and leading teams in user experience/interface and web design, marketing, web development, information architecture and usability. My core drive is to mold the user experience of web sites and web applications to create brand loyalty, increase customer satisfaction and streamline complex concepts into easy-to-use interfaces. My well-rounded skill set includes specialties in wire-framing for information architecture, front end design with valid code (to W3C specs), usability testing, some database interaction and content strategy. Employment History

Aon/Affinity Insurance Services – Lead Web/Usability Specialist (3/2008 – present)

  • Lead user experience and web marketing teams in creating self service portals for insurance account management of individuals/businesses. (A UI sample can be found at http://brinkofski.com/selfservice)
  • Was considered the top usability advisor for approximately 65 websites (which I also maintained), many of which included lengthy, cumbersome and challenging online insurance applications (including nso.com, cpai.com, hpso.com, wedsafe.com and attorneys-advantage.com).
  • Created wireframes, designed, coded and improved user experience on various clients’ websites, self-service portals and admin interfaces.
  • PDMA Benjamin Franklin Award in Direct Marketing and WMA Award for Wedsafe.com

LexisNexis: Martindale Hubbell – Web Design Associate (2/2006 – 3/2008)

  • Coded from scratch 3 – 5 custom websites a week (233 sites in 2006-2007 alone) from Photoshop designs using CSS, HTML, JSP, and a customized widget (for database calls). Maintained approximately 300 customized websites, including code, content, flash designs, video implementation, search engine optimization, and graphics. Designed websites based on client input when design team was overloaded.

Keystone Nazareth Bank and Trust – Web Master and Developer (1/2006 – 2/2006)

  • Developed Application for Volunteer work tracking of employees.
  • Maintained Internet (knbt.com) and Intranet.
  • Created and implemented flash/html video presentation website for training videos.
  • Worked with the marketing department in creating banner ads for checking account promotions.

Bethlehem Church – Web Designer and Developer (1/2005 – 10/2005)

  • Designed and Developed bethlehemchurch.org in its entirety. The site uses Movable Type as the CMS. I do not currently control the content of this site.

  • Transferred static HTML (~5,000 pages) into a dynamic CMS.

Medco–Health – Web Application Tester (3/03 – 9/03)

  • Tested, documented errors and suggested usability fixes to custom–built web-based applications.
